To create a spiral, you will need to rotate the bicone anywhere from 10-120 times. Start with extremely clean surfaces; the work surface and the plate. Make sure the clay you use in the bead is consistent in firmness. If parts of the round bead vary in firmness, it will be extra difficult to keep those rotations even and to form a good even bicone or lentil shape.
There are no rules about if you should make a hole in your bead before or after you bake them. While it is typically easier to make a hole prior to baking, it is also easier to distort the nice round edges of the lentil shape. Try both to see which method you prefer. Typically if you want to the hole to be vertical so you can have a set of small lentils for bead bracelets.

Recently Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta launched a new ad campaign that may have some cause for online reputation management on their part. The ad campaign known as “Strong4Life” based on a strong, no-nonsense approach at attacking childhood obesity. There are many people that think this approach may be too harsh, while there are some who think it is just what these children and their parents need. There are lots of opinions about these ads, while several of them seem to be on the negative side.
Children’s Healthcare may have to do some serious PR work in the area of reputation management both on and off the internet, but most of their negative feedback seems to be coming from the “Strong4Life” Facebook and Twitter pages. While they do have positive feedback on their pages, the focus seems to be on the feedback of the individuals claiming that the ads are severely negative.
Some of the detractors claim the ads do not allow for the other aspects of obesity. They claim that it is “too hurtful” to the individuals that the ads are aimed at. Several also feel it is the wrong way of approaching the problem of childhood obesity. Some individuals view the ads as attacks at the children and parents.
While some of these ads may be seen as, and may in fact be, too harsh, sometimes tough, straight talking is required in order for things to be accomplished. Some of the proponents of the ads claim that we need to stop hiding behind political correctness in this country in order to get things accomplished.
Sometimes a softer tactic is more appropriate, in which you get the target to ask questions of themselves and realize the change that is needed on their own. Instead of telling them what to do and being too frank, which may leave them to just focus on the severity of the words and not the underlying message, a softer approach could work better. When I was young beads and bead bracelets were toys for kids. I recall my young friends and cousins playing with beads and making bead bracelets at birthday parties and at school. Personally I was never into beads and bead bracelets. As I grew up beads and bead bracelets became less and less prevalent. They disappeared from my life for a while but emerged surprisingly not too long ago.
I started listening to new music and hanging out with a unique crowd in college. I became an avid fan of electronic, glitch, and trip-hop music. My cohorts introduced me to the rave scene and to a phenomena called “rave kandy.” Kandy is bead bracelets connected with crazy colored and glow-in-the-dark beads. Everyone at the raves and shows I went to was wearing these bead bracelets. I was in disbelief when I learned that most ravers made their bead bracelets themselves. Beads and bead bracelets are a mainstay of the rave world.
A few hours before a rave my friends would bust out huge bowls of neon beads and string. They would each come up with a rave persona for the night and design their bead bracelet or “rave kandy” accordingly. These beads were not the same beads I knew as a child. These rave beads were a multiplicity of sizes, wild colors, and they glowed in the dark. I think the number one reason I got excited about these bead bracelets was because they glow in the dark. Lights are fundamental to a rave so it is no wonder that glow-in-the-dark beads and bead bracelets would be popular among ravers.
Sometimes the term “rave kandy” can be deceiving. A friend of mine used to keep a bowl of beads out on his kitchen table the way some people leave books out on a coffee table. I brought an acquaintance with me to say hello to this friend and when she heard “bowl of rave kandy” she attempted to eat the beads. She was not the sharpest girl I have ever met but I cannot blame her entirely because the beads did resemble real candy. Be sure next time you are at a rave not to eat the “kandy.”
The beads and bead bracelets that ravers use to create “rave kandy” can be fun for kids as well. I brought my young cousins glow-in-the-dark beads and made neon bead bracelets with them. They were more crazy about these beads than any of my friends were excited over regular beads when we were kids. I never expected that beads and bead bracelets would come back into my life in college. Even more surprising was that bead bracelets were more awesome when I was a college student than when I was a child.

This is not to impress you but to impress upon you that YES the obstacles will come but you must continually feed your mind with good books, great audios and even a coach or mentor to keep you going on those “not so good” days.
However, today I work from home and have no desire for that large overhead and responsibility but the same discipline and mindset tactics apply. In fact, they are even more important if you’re where at home due to a lack of a real social group.

WHAT would you do if you could put fear aside?
What would you be able to do, create and accomplish? If you really take the time to imagine this; you’ll feel like a big weight has been lifted from your shoulders. By destroying FEAR you can begin living and feel the freedom you have always desired.
The FEAR keeps us chained to our limiting beliefs and insecurities and holds us back from true success, harmony and happiness. If we didn’t buy-in to the fear, it would have no power over us.
How do you overcome fear? I came from good parents but a father that always told me to watch out for this or that. He warned me and warned me about this or that and more; all the while to “protect” me from life. But after years and years of hearing; no, don’t do that, watch out for this… takes a toll on the emotions.
I developed a fear of what others thought of me; fear of how I looked, fear if I was good enough; smart enough, fear of being rejected, fear of not being loved and much more but I think you get the idea.
Late in my teenager time I began to listen to Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Dennis Waitley and more and my fear began to get replaced with positive ideas and the possibility of being success, self-worth and happy, etc. I remember being just 18 years of age and listening to these great speaks tell ME; that I could do it, that I could succeed, that I can visualize success and a life of happiness and abundance. Thank God I was young and nave; because I bought into it hook, line and sinker! This didn’t happen overnight!
Being an entrepreneur has been a HUGE benefit in helping me overcome many of the fears and limiting beliefs that I had had carried inside of me until this point.
The first time I had to speak to a group, I was extremely nervous and intimidated… But I did it, and today I love speaking to others in person, on video and cherish the opportunity to inspire those around me.
After taking the actions, becasue I believe in myself, the more I got involved with the word “can do” information; the more I overcame that fear. In other words, the “taking action” was in itself a cure for FEAR.
Does owning a business cause or cure fear? I feel owning your own business is so much more than making money, financial success or anything tied to material things. Don’t misunderstand me, those things are fine but WHO you become is the most valuable of all.
There are many people “get into” a business and worry about marketing, selling, promoting and more but rarely take enough action towards their mindset.
When it comes to having your own business, (offline or online) and creating the life you truly desire….what’ holding YOU back? What are your biggest fears?

It’s so funny to see the MLM guys in one corner and the Top Tier guy in another as to what is best. I have to tell you the truth; marketing is marketing and you just have to find something you like and then apply yourself.
I want to explain in detail a system called the Press 1 Marketing System and you can see the pros and cons and see if it is applicable to your business and style. I’ll be blunt and direct and on the surface it may seem like just a voice broadcasting service and it may stir up the emotions of that being old school or “I always hang up on those things” and you would be partially correct, but…. The Press 1 Marketing System has gone well beyond a simple calling service as they have incorporated sizzle calls, which is old school but believe it or not work very well to get people to take another step forward.

You probably have been told that options are wild. Even worse, that you can lose your shirt trading them! Well, what is the truth? Let’s take a look at stock ownership. What can happen if you buy stock?
The toll can go up.
The price can go down.
The price can go sideways.
In the first case, you can make money. In the second you lose money. And in the third case you don’t directly win or lose but in fact it costs you money in two ways. The direct cost of brokerage and fees. And the collateral cost known as opportunity cost. This is the cost due to lost opportunities. The fact that you aren’t able to be involved in other, potentially profitable trades. So if you purchase stock you can only make money if the stock price goes up. Now some of you may be thinking, “But what about shorting?” Well yes, short sale stock is possible but it is quite a tricky scheme and has almost unlimited risk so it is certainly not an approaching we recommend. You see, when you short a stock, you actually sell a stock that you don’t own. And your intention is to then buy the stock back at a lower price. The price difference is your profit per share. But can you see what the problem is here? Well what happens if the stock price goes up? Especially if it goes up a lot? As you have sold the stock at a lower price you now have to buy it back at a higher price. And so your loss can be significant.
So, to sum, when you trade stock you can really only make money if the price increases. Now there is one other aspect to this that I want to address. And this is that owning stock is expensive! If you buy 100 shares of a $50 stock it will cost you $5000. And if you buy it on margin it is still $2500. That is a lot of money to outlay. And, more importantly it is a lot of money to put at risk. Especially seeing that you only have a one in three chance of the stock moving in the right way. Plus as stocks don’t trend all that often you not only need to pick the right direction, you also need to be able to pick the right time. So stock trading is not that easy. And it’s expensive. But options put up a great option. For a start you only have to invest about 2 % of what the stock was worth and yet you still control the same 100 shares. So in the example above, instead of investing $5000, we might only have to outlay $100. Plus, if you pick out the right strategy, you can profit no matter whether the stock price goes up; goes down or even goes sideways! And finally, your risk is limited. The maximum you can lose is the amount you put into the trade. So in the example above – $100.
But the best thing of all is the purchase that options provide. In the above example, if the stock price goes up by $5, the profit on the stock trade would be 10 % or on margin, 20 %. But with this increase in stock price the value of the option might increase by 100 %. And so the profit on the business deal would be 100 % – or ten times that of the straight stock trade. So don’t just accept the common view that owning stock is safe and trading options is unsafe. If you see options and memories how to trade them they can be an outstanding investment vehicle.
