Since this is an election year, put your hand over your heart & let your patriotism ring-out loud & clear with a creation of dried flowers. Begin by combing the Star flowers in red, Larkspur in white, & leaves of preserved rocky hakea in blue. For special meaning & interest add different sized U.S. flags thruout the arrangement. Stick-in a few foil wrapped glittery sparklers & stars. Keep the contents loose & airy, using the larkspur for height. Stand these in a coffee can painted red, white & blue, with silver stars painted at random. Can’t you just hear the boom, boom boom of the fireworks as they burst out in the sky, filling it with sparks of color? Let strains of “God Bless America” fill your heart with pride & bring a tear to your eyes.

Another alternative choice could be to do a full/lush bouquet of the parchment hydranga in red & white, with the preserved Blue Rocky Hakea leaves. Instead of using flags this time, make small bows out of red, white & blue ribbon, placing the them among the Hydrangas. Shout out, “Let Freedom Ring”.

Dried flowers are the answer to floral arrangements for special occassions. With graduations fast approaching, get started now with your creative touch. Since purple & gold are my school colors, I’ll begin there, with the selection of purple Hydranga & gold Rocky Hakea leaves. For height I’ve mixed in gold Berry Branches & purple Flax Grass, adding purple Happy Flowers. Place at random plant picks of caps with tassels/year, add to an appropriate vase. Make a large purple bow, with gold lettering, wishing the graduate “Good Luck”! “Congratulations”. Another choice would be the red & white Hydrangas with red Ting ting flowers, red preserved Oak leaves

with congratulation wishes.

The business causal dress code, or smart casual, has evolved as acceptable attire for the workplace since the 1990’s. Companies usually institute this business casual dress code in hopes that their employees will be a bit more comfortable in the workplace. However, simply the mention of the word “casual” has many employees confused about guidelines for their attire. Employees should still appear professional, neat and pulled together, while being relaxed at the same time.

Guidelines for the business casual dress code are essential for the company and for the employees. Employers need to set basic ground rules so that there is a standard by which employees can abide, since everyone’s idea of business casual is different. Every employer wants their associates to look their best regarding corporate apparel, even if the dress code is business casual.

Dress slacks or capris, trousers, blouses, casual dresses, skirts and sweaters are all considered appropriate for women in the workplace. Clothing choices such as denim or cotton capris, sun dresses, tank tops, sweat pants, short-shorts, and midriff tops are not suitable for the workplace. In addition, any clothing that reveals too much skin, such as cleavage, chest, or back, shouldn’t be worn to work. Shoes are an important detail. Women should not wear tennis shoes, flip flops, or flimsy sandals. A sharp, polished flat or heeled casual shoe would do fine.

If you are a country music fan who just happened to follow the 2007 fair circuit you may have been lucky enough to see this woman in concert. If you are a country music fan who happens to listen to country music radio, than you surely heard her on the radio. These were two ways that the fans were able to get to know a little about Danielle Peck.

Danielle Peck is known as a super, sexy talented country music singer and up and coming star. She has all ready received the honor of having her songs recorded as ringtones for anyone and everyone to download onto their cell phones. She also has had the honor of opening for such star power performers as Brad Paisley.

Danielle Peck was born on September 14, 1978 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Yet, she grew up in the small town of Coshocton, Ohio. She grew up in a musical type family. Her mother’s family sang and traveled in churches. Her father’s (an US Marine) family sang at dances. Her influences include the usual singers and musicians such as Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Reba McIntyre, Loretta Lynn, Shania Twain and Trish Yearwood. Yet, she is also influenced by what some may consider unusual artists like: Gwen Stefani, Wilson Phillips and Pat Bentar.

The first song Danielle ever performed was "Folsom Prison Blues" by the late great Johnny Cash. She still performs this song at most of her live concerts.

Danielle wrote her first song at the age of 10 and joined her first band (The Neon Moon Band) at the age of 16. After graduating high school, Danielle knew singing, performing and writing country music songs were her destiny. For this reason, she packed up and moved to where all the aspiring country musicians go, Nashville, Tennessee.

Starting out like many stars, Danielle began working as a waitress. She was a busy woman, funding her dream by waiting tables, writing songs when she found the time. Some days she would be up at 8 in the morning. Writing songs until 2 in the afternoon and then off to work, she would go until 2 or 3 the next morning. She would do the same thing the next day. Yet, her hard work paid off in the way of a real job as a song writer.

Finally, she was signed to a recording deal with DreamWorks Records. But as fate would have it, the company folded before her first album was debuted.

Then along came a deal with her current company Big Machine Records. Taylor Swift and Trisha Yearwood are two other stars who are recording with Big Machine.

Danielle got busy with her first tracks and soon her first big hit “I don’t" which was released off of her first album entitled: Danielle Peck. It reached number 28 on the Hot Country Songs Charts in 2005. In June 2006, Danielle released her full album. It made its way up to number 23 on the top of the US billboard charts of top country albums.

Danielle’s hit that touched every woman who was out there looking for that special man: "Finding a Good Man." was released next. It also made its way into the top 30 charts. This is the song that she is noted for now. Once she starts singing this one at the fairs, the fans come alive.

Along came the song "Isn’t that everything." It was also released in 2006 and made it to the top 30 list.

"Bad for me" has been the latest song released by Danielle Peck. Although, it hasn’t reached the top 40 charts, yet, there are tons of fans that can recite every word of this song.

This is the key to Danielle Peck’s ongoing success, the fans. If you check out her MySpace page, you will see that she is devoted to keeping her up with her fans and with pleasing them.

The song "Bad for Me" plays as the fans can read the comments left by Danielle and the other fans. It has been played over 3,000,000 times. She also has over 44,000 fans that have signed up to her page.

On that page, the fans can see where she is performing. Some of the gigs are big stages (yes, she has even been on the Grand O’le Opry). But some of the gigs are much smaller (remember the fairs she played, they were even in small, no-name towns).

The fans also may relate to Danielle because of her songs. Danielle strives to make each of her songs real or a part of her. She proclaims that each song she writes reflects a little bit about her, something she has been through or has felt.
